Turkish rebar prices rebound a bit

Yieh reported that Turkish rebar price has increased in line with soaring square billet price due to improving demand of Turkish and Middle Easts end users.

The current square billet price has risen by USD 60 per tonnes to USD 400 per tonnes and the recent rebar offer is up to FOB USD 440 per tonnes to USD 450 per tonnes; however, the flat market remains slack and the current price is about USD 340 per tonnes to USD 360 per tonnes for heavy plate.

Moreover, Turkish scrap import price has increase as well due to rebound of demand, the settle rate of Turkish and Black Sea’s A3 scrap is CFR USD 225 per tonnes to USD 230 per tonnes.
